On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, the ^14th ordinary session of the Board of Governors of the African Guarantee and Economic Cooperation Fund (FAGACE) was held. It is a videoconference meeting bringing together the Ministers in charge of Finance of the Member States

The governors of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, Chad and Togo were present at the FAGACE meeting. At the end of the activities on the agenda, the deliberations of the Board of Governors were sanctioned by the main decisions. These include the increase in the authorized share capital of FAGAGE, increased to five hundred billion (500,000,000,000) FCFA, the adoption of the report of the Statutory Auditors (financial year 2022) which shows a net profit, the adoption of the financial statements as at 31 December 2022 and the approval of the annual balance sheet on the implementation of the 2021-2025 Strategic Plan and the adjustments necessary to make it agile and more effective.
