Cameroon's 2025 budget is clearly up compared to that of 2024. It aims to strengthen economic growth while streamlining public spending. The government forecasts overall economic growth of 4.1% in 2025, compared to 3.8% in 2024, driven mainly by the non-oil sector (+4.3%), while the oil sector is expected to continue to contract (-1.0%). The finance bill will be examined by senators and deputies for adoption.
