The first edition of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) Businessmen's Forum will start in Dakar on 16 November next.

The first edition of the UEMOA Businessmen's Forum aims, according to the UEMOA Commission, to strengthen competitiveness and the performance of the private sector, positioning it as an engine for sustainable economic growth and integration in the region. It will be a suitable platform to provide opportunities for cooperation and partnership, discuss the legal and institutional framework, formulate concrete proposals to improve market access and promote a culture of quality. During this event, an inaugural conference, thematic workshops, B2B meetings, exhibitions and the jury meeting for the 2023 edition of the UEMOA Quality Award will be organized
