On November 17 and 18, the 1st edition of the Salon des Industries Musicales d'Afrique Francophone (SIMA) will take place at Sofitel Hotel Ivoire in Abidjan.

“In the age of digitalization, what are the challenges for the African music industry? “This is the main theme of the unique meeting, which will bring together international production houses, music distributors, social media, artists, international and African producers, music professionals, governments, the general public and many other actors of private sector.

Indeed, SIMA will be accompanied by numerous political figures in the music industry. It is placed under the high patronage of Françoise Remarck, Minister of Culture and Francophonie, under the sponsorship of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Patrick Achi, under the institutional support of the Ministry of Employment and Social Protection and the Ministry of Communication and the digital economy.
