The Yunus Group, specialized in the creation of financial solutions for African countries in particular, announced on Monday, August 25, 2025, the opening of a subsidiary in Côte d'Ivoire. This new entity will be managed by Richard Kouadjo, appointed CEO

During the official launch ceremony, organized under the leadership of the Ivory Coast Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the CEO of Yunus S.A., Jéhu Ndoumi, shared his vision for the African continent. “Yunus's mission is to provide facilities to the most disadvantaged populations, to the most remote sections of Africa. We want them to have dignified access to transport, food and housing, in conditions that respect human dignity,” he said. The CEO also underlined the company's desire to act as a bridge between international financial markets and the real needs of Africa. “Dear Ivorian brothers, we decided to capture capital on the financial markets to invest in Africa. We are the bridges that Africa has created to go to sources of financing, in order to better serve our populations.

Also, the group intends to establish strategic partnerships in the energy, mobility and digital sectors, based on public-private partnership mechanisms. It thus intends to implement smart mobility solutions such as Yunus Taxi and Yunus Moove, and develop microinsurance and social protection products
