The 2nd National Cotton Farmers Day, from Cashew and shea butter (JNPCA) was held from Friday 6 to Saturday 7 February 2026 in Yamoussoukro, precisely at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation. She has was marked by the significant participation of the Agricultural Interprofession of the cotton sector in Côte d'Ivoire (Intercotton).

48 hours of exchanges, celebrations and recognition of the agricultural world. During these two days, Intercoton presented the cotton sector, thus affirming its constant commitment to structured, efficient and sustainable sector, one of the essential pillars of the national economy. The Interprofession was represented by Moussa Soro, Chairman of the Board of administration (Pca), at the head of a large delegation composed of Jean-Baptiste Siontiamma Silué, executive director, and all of directions of the interprofession.

by the actors of sectors have been distinguished by obtaining several awards celebrating excellence. The Alassane Ouattara Prize for the best cotton producer was awarded to Banaga Silué. As a reward, he received a trophy as well as a 60 hp agricultural tractor, with its accessories, including a plow, a sprayer and trailer. This award thus recognizes his commitment and his exceptional performances in cotton production.
