The 4th edition of the CIO Awards Africa 2023, held on Saturday, November 25, produced recipients of its prestigious initiative. The event was held at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

At the 4th edition of the CIO Awards Africa 2023, Shoyinka Shodunke from MTN was announced as the winner of the Technology and Telecoms Award; the Energy category had Idris Musa from the Oando Group as the winner and Adeyunji Ayoade from Arise Global Media Ltd won eacute; the Media and Entertainment category. For their part Mitchell Elegbe , founder of Old Style”, "Serif"">Interswitch , won a lifetime achievement award; Idris Musa, managing director of information technology and asset integrity at the Oando Group, became the overall winner of the 2023 CIO Awards

“This year marks an important milestone as we expand our horizons from Nigeria to Ghana, Egypt, Kenya, South Africa, and Senegal, transcending borders and borders to recognize the exceptional contributions of technology leaders and visionaries from across the African continent,” said Abiola Laseinde, organizer of the CIO Awards Africa.
