A press release from the Ouagadougou Partnership Coordination Unit (Ucpo) announced the launch of registrations for the 8th edition of the competition for excellence in media production on sexual and reproductive health rights/family planning (Dssr/Pf) in the member countries of the Ouagadougou Partnership (Po)

The press release indicated that “the Ouagadougou Partnership Coordination Unit and Population Council are launching the 8th edition of the Media Production Excellence Competition on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights/ Family Planning (Dssr/Pf). It is open to media professionals and bloggers from member countries of the Ouagadougou-PO- Partnership (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal and Togo)”. The vision of this annual competition to stimulate the production of journalists and bloggers to support the momentum set in motion by the PO by informing the public about the challenges of Dssr/Pf. He believes in empowering policy and programmatic decision makers for evidence-based decision-making to advance the goals of national FP plans
