ECOWAS announced in a publication made on Monday, October 02, 2023, that it is organizing the 8th edition of the ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF) and the launch of the regional off-grid electricity access project in Praia, Cabo Verde on October 12 and 13, 2023.

“Empowering sustainable energy in the ECOWAS Region” is the theme of the 2023 edition of the ECOWAS Sustainable Energy Forum (ESEF 2023). It is one of the biggest energy events in West Africa. It was launched in 2016 by CEREEC to discuss and identify strategies to support investments and political initiatives by ECOWAS member states.
