The State of Senegal and the Federal Republic of Germany are committed to a new financial cooperation agreement. This agreement, worth 96 billion CFA francs (146 million euros), aims, among other projects, the modernization of administration and land management, the facility for the growth of SMEs, the promotion of vocational training and employment.

This envelope also provides Germany with additional support for Senegal to support its Resilience Program
economic and social (PRES) in the context of the COVID-19 crisis.

“The financial cooperation measure in the amount of 100 million euros, or approximately 65.6 billion CFA francs, concerns an emergency budget support program for the Covid-19 response for which I have marked my agreement for a start of implementation”, declared, at the signing of the agreement, this Thursday, the Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, Amadou Hott.
