Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire located in Abidjan-Cocody will host the 9th edition of the Makutano Business Forum, the first business network in Central Africa, from September 20 to 21, 2023.

The 9th edition of the Makutano Business Forum will be structured around three meeting formats. These are interactive working sessions on sectoral issues (agribusiness, renewable energies, mining, cultural and creative industries, insurance, etc.) or transversal issues (the development of African champions, the financing needs of the private sector, etc.) debated in plenary sessions and explored in workshops in order to lead to concrete deliverables. And networking sessions (breakfasts, thematic lunches, Invest in DRC and Invest in Côte d'Ivoire, closing cocktail, etc.) to talk about business, with a particular focus on the multisectoral opportunities that the DRC and Côte d'Ivoire offer today

The event will take place for the first time outside the Democratic Republic of Congo and the sub-region. It will bring together more than 150 personalities including heads of government, public decision-makers, private sector leaders and civil society leaders to contribute to unlocking untapped intra-African trade potential
