In reality, this funding will allow the country's government to connect 739 rural communities to the grid, guaranteeing good quality electricity to more than 500,000 inhabitants It's clean, less polluting, and affordable.

The funding is also part of the “Electricity for All Program” adopted on May 27, 2014 and includes a loan of $8.26 million and a donation of $2.27 million. The reduction in energy expenditure, especially for household lighting services following their connection to the electricity grid, is an important result.”
