On Thursday, August 18, 2022, in Ouagadougou, a project to optimize photovoltaic solar energy for the production of green hydrogen in Africa was launched of the West (PV2H) and studies on the evaluation of the potential for producing green hydrogen from biomass energy and on the feasibility of a 1 Megawatt waste plant.

The current climate context requires all of humanity to make an indispensable energy transition, which means that today energy sources such as l& Rsquo; hydrogen have appeared and are increasingly of interest to several countries around the world. Chaired by Issa Somé, Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the photovoltaic solar optimization project is a way for Burkina Faso to have more energy for its development. To this end, a battle has been launched to control energy efficiency, which has now been launched in African countries.
