.At a press conference given jointly with Edward Gemayel, the head of an IMF mission who stayed in Senegal for nearly two weeks, Minister Mamadou Moustapha Ba indicated that “this agreement in principle, at the end of which Senegal will have access to financing, before the closure of the financial operations under the 2023 management of 166 billion CFA francs will be subject to the approval of the senior authorities of the IMF and its Executive Board, which is due to meet on 14 December next.”
