During a press conference, the commissioner general of the event, Alex Séa announced on Monday, November 13, 2023, that the Africa Fintech Forum will bring together between 600 and 700 decision makers from various fields of activity from 50 countries. “Fintech and Commerce: How Fintech Will Shape Commerce in Francophone Africa”, is the theme chosen for this edition. The event aims to be the melting pot where expertise, entrepreneurship and passion for electronic finance, trade, finance, logistics, and many other related sectors converge

According to Alex Sea, the focus will be on the impact of fintech on African trade. Decision makers from a variety of sectors will share their knowledge, ideas, and experiences on using fintech to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and strengthen the competitiveness of African trade globally
