Grand Bassam hosted the opening ceremony of the joint general meeting of the Provident Fund for Maritime and Port Affairs Agents (FPAMP) on Thursday, August 10, 2023. On the occasion, the participants had to take stock of the moral and financial situation and the prospects for the future of the FPAMP

The agenda adopted by the 40 delegates present out of a total of 44 delegates takes into account the Adoption of the Activity Reports from 2016 to 2022, the Amendments and Adoption of the Statutes and Rules of Procedure, Adoption of the Guide & eacute; electoral, reading and validation of resolutions and motions and Miscellaneous. Mention was made of the acquisition of vehicles, 2 ambulances, one of which is medicalized, real estate acquisitions, especially an R+1 building belonging to the Fund, and the acquisition of 2 plots of land of 2.2 hectares with respect to the moral balance. The first 3% inflows from UEMOA have made the balance positive so far

With respect to the financial balance sheet, the budget reference is 413,920,000 francs. From 2016 to 2020, the balance remained negative. It took the first 3% contributions from UEMOA for the balance to be positive so far. With regard to the prospects, it would be appropriate to consider an administrative organization in accordance with the recommendations of the seminar on the restructuring of the FPAMP held from 22 to 25 February 2022, in Grand-Bassam
