The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has launched consultations in Togo under a new program under the Extended Credit Facility (ECF). The aim will be to establish a three-year programme that will enable Togo to receive appropriate support. In order to control the weaknesses identified and support economic growth in order to create the wealth necessary to improve the living conditions of the population, the IMF is preparing a new program to help Togo benefit from expanded credit. By videoconference, IMF experts and the services of the Ministry of Economy and Finance will discuss topics related to macroeconomic accounts, the real sector, monetary and financial policies, the balance of payments, and public finances.
