Lors d' un forum tenu à l' occasion de The International Anti-Corruption Day on Friday, December 9, 2022, the Deputy Coordinator of the Prevention Agency and the fight against corruption (APLC), encouraged the government to include an anti-corruption course from kindergarten to university in the national curriculum. It was during a debate organized in Kinshasa on corruption.

The Congolese mentality must be changed through awareness-raising and education. At least that's what Bénie Laure Kamwinziku thinks. Because, according to her, punishment alone is not enough to stem corruption in society. “We expect a strong mobilization of the population to take an interest in this issue of fighting corruption and we hope to obtain a change in mentalities and the establishment of a new culture to finally have a new type of man in our country” she said.

For her, punishment is not the only remedy to eradicate or eliminate corruption. Thus, “integrity is an internal value. If we have it, we will achieve the eradication, if not the reduction of corruption,” she thinks.
