On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, the Agency of Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (ADPME), with the support of Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Employment Promotion, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin, and with the technical and financial support of the Bank worldwide through the Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship Project for Employment in Benin (FP2E), have officially handed over grants to 15 Entrepreneurship Support Organizations (OAE) labelled.

In total, $1.49 million in grants and 14 months technical support are mobilized to sustainably strengthen these structures that support Beninese entrepreneurs every day. These labelled entrepreneurship support organizations (OAE) have benefited from this grant mobilized to sustainably raise the standards of entrepreneurial support in Benin.

The selection was conducted by a multi-stakeholder committee composed of:

• a representative of the Ministry of Economy and Finances
• a representative of the Ministry of SMEs and Employment Promotion
• a representative of ADPME
• an ADSC representative
• the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry
• the Grants Operator
