AXA Group's Nigerian subsidiary achieved a 14% increase in gross written premium in the first quarter of 2022. The value of this premium is estimated at N28.64 billion compared to N25.08 billion at the end of March 2021,

AXA Mansard Insurance Plc recorded a 39% increase in net premium income to N11.57 billion while investment and other income fell by 25% to N1.23 billion. Operating expenses increased by 1% to N2.54 billion from N2.52 billion during the period under review.

Profit before tax decreased by 84% to N470 million from N2.92 billion in March 2021, while profit after tax decreased by 15% to N2.92 billion.After-tax profit decreased by 85% from N2.63 billion to N390 million in March 2021.
