A regional awareness-raising workshop by the Journalists Network (ROGEAP) opens in Cotonou, Benin's economic capital, on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

The organization of a regional awareness-raising workshop for journalists from member countries aims to popularize the objectives and benefits of the Project and to develop a strategy regional for the visibility of ROGEAP in the nineteen (19) member states. The main objective of this workshop, funded by the World Bank and BOAD through ECOWAS, is to raise awareness and strengthen the capacity of journalists on the ROGEAP project and on the off-grid energy sector so that they can be ambassadors and media focal points in their respective countries.
