On Monday, October 23, 2023, the ownership seminar opened at the Cotonou Convention Center. This is a four-day national workshop launched by the Government of Benin on the World Bank's Business Ready conceptual approach and methodology

The national workshop is a new approach that the World Bank adopted after the suspension of Doing Business to assess the business climate in countries. During the workshop, financial actors and investors learn about the Business Ready (B-Ready) methodology adopted to assess the business and investment climate of 54 economies in the period 2023-2026. Benin wants to prepare its actors for the new touch put in place by the World Bank by agreeing to host this workshop. For these four (04) days of workshop, the Ministry of Economy and Finances of Benin requested an international expert from the World Bank Group to better understand the Business Loan approach to Beninese national actors
