In a context of growing mobilization around ESG issues and sustainable finance, BANK OF AFRICA announces the launch of Award of Excellence in Sustainability & Impact, a structuring initiative supported by the Pan-African Chair in Sustainability and Impact Finance, developed in partnership with six leading Moroccan academic institutions.

Having reached a phase of maturity, the Chair confirms its ambition to structure a pan-African ecosystem dedicated to the production of high value-added knowledge and its translation into measurable impacts on territories and organizations. Through this new Prize, BANK OF AFRICA intends to reward exceptional contributions combining innovation scientific and operational actions with a concrete impact.

The Prize is organized around two main categories. La first, “Innovative Research”, distinguishes academic works that allowed significant advances in understanding the challenges of sustainability, in particular through technological or methodological approaches likely to influence professional practices.

The second category, “Impact Initiative”, values projects carried out by companies, NGOs or communities with an impact measurable, exemplary environmental, social and governance reproducible. The objective is to highlight initiatives capable of generate a transformative effect on a large scale.
