For a case of non-compliance with the rules of luck, prudential and financial conduct, sanctions were imposed on four financial institutions by the National Bank of Angola (BNA).

After investigation and instruction, from 1 July to 30 September 2023, the application of the measures resulted from a total of 34 sanctions procedures against financial institutions under its supervision. In a statement, the BNA indicated that of the 34 procedures completed, 15 correspond to very summary procedures, four of which resulted in financial sanctions, and 11 (eleven) were archived for refusal, as part of the rights granted to financial institutions.
