The Ministry of Finance and Budget announced that last Friday that the assets of Banque Popantique were transferred to Atlantic Financial Group Bank Côte d'Ivoire (AFG Bank CI).

La cérémonie de passation de service s' est tenue le vendredi 31 décembre sous la président du ministre des Finances et du Budget, Adama Coulibaly. The latter indicated the nature of this transaction allows BPCI to transfer its revalued style="font-family: "Bookman Old Style”, "serif" "> assets as well as its liabilities to AFG BANK CI , thus generating capital gains converted into shares for the benefit of the State of Côte d'Ivoire for a value of 35.6 billion FCFA, sold to AFG. According to him, the operation will allow the new entity to strengthen financial inclusion and preserve its jobs.
