The UBS tax evasion appeal trial begins this Monday, March 8, 2021 in Paris.

The Swiss bank, UBS, is meeting with the Paris Court of Appeal from 8 March to 24 March. She was sentenced at first instance to pay 4.5 billion euros for illegal banking and aggravated laundering of tax evasion in 2019.
After appealing this decision, she finds herself in court. The financial institution had suffered the heaviest sentence ever imposed in France in a tax evasion case with a fine of 3.7 billion euros imposed by the Paris Criminal Court.
