The national treasurer, Romuald Wadagni drew up on Monday, November 9, the main axes of the draft state budget for the management of 2021 to the deputies members of the budget committee of the national assembly. Thus, the new orientations brought to the content were presented to the parliamentarians.

The draft finance law for the 2021 financial year, which balances resources and expenses at the sum of 2452.192 billion CFA francs against 2167.099 billion CFA francs for the 2020 amending finance law, was presented to the deputies members of the budget committee. The Minister of Finance reassured of the stability of the budget in response to the health crisis related to the coronavirus.

In its presentation, it is noted that the government has introduced new accompanying tax measures for businesses, households and the reduction of the tax system. The measures concern, among other things, the exemption from the licence and the synthetic business tax (Tps) on the first twelve months of activity of new companies as well as the reform of the recovery of the local development tax (Tdl) on mining products.

It should be noted that the government has also bet on the relaxation of the fine applied in the event of breaches of the obligations in terms of withholding of the Aib, the abolition of the obligation of prior requests for validation of the Aib but also on the exemption of internship remuneration from the tax on the income of natural persons and employer payment on salary (Vps).
