Tuesday, May 23 in Dakar Ibrahima Dione Amadou Hott, Senegalese Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, and Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Director General of the Fund Saudi Development has signed an agreement to finance the Oréfondé-Nguidjilogne road bitumage project.

The signing of the financing agreement for the rehabilitation and asphalting project in the Oréfondé-Nguidjilogne section is part of the execution of a strategy Strategy to open up localities in the north of the country through the construction of communication routes.

Indeed, the Saudi Development Fund is committed to financing the road project to the tune of 176.2 million riyals, or nearly 31 billion CFA francs. According to the Senegalese Minister of Economy, Planning and Cooperation, Amadou Hott, his country “will spare no effort to guarantee the successful implementation of this important project” thanks in particular to “an acceleration of procedures & Raquo;.

Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Development Fund, on the other hand, says that “the project to widen the Orefounded road -Nguidjilogne in accordance with the standards of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), will facilitate trade (between this zone and the rest of Senegal) and reduce accidents.”
