After the stimulus vote, the Dow Jones Industrial Average ended at a record high on Wall Street. It gained 1.46%.

In a market rejoicing in the vote by the House of Representatives of a gigantic plan to help the US economy and less concerned about inflation risks, the Dow Jones gained 1.46% to 32,297.02 points.
The index of star stocks of the New York Stock Exchange thus crosses the threshold of 32,000 points at the close. The broader S&P 500 index gained 0.60% to 3898.81 points, while the tech-heavy NASDAQ fell a bit, falling 0.04% to 13,068.81 points.
Patrick O'Hare of Briefing says the market continues to cling to the idea of reopening and the likelihood that cyclical stocks are the right place to invest.
