The Burkinabe Idrissa Nassa relies not only on his trusted collaborators, but also on a network close to the government in order to make his business prosper.

Idrissa Nassa wants to make his investment holding Coris one of the main supporters for the development of West African economies, with a recent focus on the mining sector. It is nevertheless present in real estate, commerce, civil engineering, transport, insurance, hospitality, etc.

The identification of promising projects is carried out in particular by Djakaridja Ouattara, CEO of Coris' banking subsidiary, Coris Bank International, as well as by Aziz Nassa, son and second in command of Idrissa Nassa in the holding company, and finally by Emmanuel Sawadogo, CEO of the latter. With their help, it was decided in January to grant $96 million in debt for the development of the Bomboré gold mine of the Canadian Orezone Gold Corp in Burkina Faso.

Idrissa Nassa benefits from the advice of Bolo Sanou, former director of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) for Burkina Faso and a member of the board of directors of Coris, Rassablega Seydou Ouédraogo, director of the West African research organization Free Afrik Institute and Pierre Claver Damiba, former Minister of Planning of Burkina Faso also passed by the West African Development Bank (BOAD) and the World Bank.

He is now regularly consulted by the president re-elected in November, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, and maintains close ties with several key figures of the current power in Ouagadougou.
