The Turkish Erdem Group will be in charge of the construction of storage warehouses at the Port Autonome de Douala. A contract of agreement was signed between the three parties: the PAD, the Erdem Group and Afriland first Bank.

With a total cost of 15 billion, the project consists of building storage areas to the standards required by the port activity. The work was launched on July 7. The project also takes into account the operation and maintenance of the storage areas in the Conventional Terminal of the Port of Douala-Bonabéri. Indeed, the existing warehouses and being destroyed date from the years before independence and are out of phase with the current dynamics of the port sector.
