Despite an improvement in oil revenues, which are the main fiscal resource, the difficult economic climate marked by rising inflation since the second half of 2022 is expected to strengthen next year for all the economies of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC). The Monetary Policy Committee (CPM) of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC) revised the growth forecasts downwards at the end of its fourth session on December 15 in Douala.
