Pullman Hotel Plateau hosted the International Conference on Governance and Communication (CIGC) on Friday, November 10, 2023, which was held under the leadership of Minister Amadou Coulibaly, Minister of Communication, spokesperson for the Ivorian Government.

“Building trust between young people and government” is the theme on which the first edition of the CIGC is based. It is an annual forum that has fostered the exchange of ideas between communication professionals in the public sector, allowing the exploration of new trends and approaches. This conference explored the role of public sector communication in promoting trust between young people and their governments. For Kwame Senou, Commissioner General of the CIGC, the mission behind this annual forum is “to listen, to use evidence to develop communications, to cultivate relationships, and to provide young people with reliable information about the public service that they can use to make the right decisions. The power of government brands can educate and enlighten the younger generation through conversations that matter to them, such as job opportunities, good health, and education.”
