In order to assess the implementation of projects financed by the African Development Bank (ADB) in Togo, a review took place over 4 days in order to reach a satisfactory conclusion for the two parties: ADB and Togo. The meeting registered the participation of project management units, representatives of the line ministries as well as all other actors involved in project management.

The satisfactory conclusion reached between Togo and the ADB highlighted the constraints with a view to proposing ways to improve the quality of Togo's portfolio to s of the ADB and to capitalize on strengths and weaknesses.

According to Sani Yaya, Minister of Economy and Finance, “the Bank's intervention focuses on strengthening the institutional framework and economic development through the financing of projects in the transport, social, energy and agriculture sectors with a particular focus on governance. This intervention is in line with the strategic axes and pillars of the Togo 2025 Government Roadmap, the 2021-2026 Country Strategy Document and the Bank's strategic priorities.”

The governor of Togo at the ADB emphasized a key aspect of their cooperation. According to him, the bank has supported the Head of State's socio-economic inclusion program through three projects that are currently being implemented at the social level. These projects actually cover the areas of financial inclusion of vulnerable women, the employability and integration of young people, and the integration of training.
