During a three-day visit to South Sudan, the Vice President of the African Development Bank, in charge of Regional Development, Integration and Service Delivery, Marie-Laure Akin-Olugbade, reiterated the institution's commitment to support the increase of agricultural production and productivity in order to strengthen food security.

The AfDB Vice President, in charge of Regional Development, Integration and Service Delivery, has committed to increasing the Bank's financing to South Sudan by 60% in 2024 in response to significant humanitarian and development needs.
