The PDIC announced that it has signed a new memorandum of understanding in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, for a “mutual commitment to further strengthen cross-border cooperation” between the two deposit insurance agencies. The memorandum of understanding “formalizes the intention of the two agencies to continue their partnership after the conclusion of the five-year agreement” concluded in November 2018 according to PDCI. The MOU is again in force for a term of five years and can be extended for an additional five years with the joint and written consent of the PDIC and the DIV
