As part of the project, Farm and cooperative investment program (FCIP), the Dutch NGO IDH and the Coffee-Cocoa Council initiated a training course dedicated to the managers of coffee-cocoa cooperative societies in the Lôh-Djiboua region. The workshop took place from Wednesday 14 to Friday 16 April 2021, in Divo.

22 managers of 11 cooperative societies have been trained in better administrative and financial management of their companies, with a view to professionalizing the actors in the sector, facilitating access to finance and securing transactions.
The partner banking institution, through the electronic solution, offers the security of transaction flows, so that in the long term we achieve the reduction of the risks inherent in the physical transfers of amounts, thus guaranteeing better traceability of the various transactions with banks. Cooperative managers were encouraged to sensitize their members to open bank accounts and e-money accounts with telephone companies, to facilitate the operationalization of this component of the project.
