The issue of debt was widely discussed during the 9th general meeting of the Association of Supreme Audit Institutions having French in common (Aisccuf). After the alert, last year, from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which had invited the Ivorian authorities to observe caution in the level of public debt, several media including 'Financial Afrik' and civil society echoed it. During the assizes which took place on Tuesday, the president of the Court of Auditors of Côte d'Ivoire, Kanvaly Diomandé, reassures that the country's debt "has no flashing red at this stage".
