Côte d'Ivoire is positioning itself as a pioneer in the responsible digital era in West Africa with the deployment of an ambitious communication strategy.

The strategy entitled “Digital Responsibility 225" aims to promote responsible and ethical use of social networks among citizens, while focusing on education, awareness, and encouraging innovation. It positions the country as a pioneer in digital awareness and education in West Africa. The strategy aims to revolutionize the way citizens interact and use social media. The communication strategy of the Ministry of Communication and the Digital Economy is based on several phases.

This is Education and Outreach with workshops, seminars, and trainings that will be organized across the country to educate citizens on the importance of responsible use of social media. Capacity Building through training programs will be put in place to strengthen the skills of users in creating responsible content and in the use of digital tools. Innovation and Creativity, with the establishment of a support fund for start-ups and initiatives that contribute to a positive and responsible use of social networks. And Community engagement with the creation of an online platform and the organization of events to promote the exchange of knowledge and the sharing of best practices in the use of social networks.
