The GUCE-CI and the General Directorate of Taxes have signed on 18 December 2025, a memorandum of understanding concerning the establishment of a structured data exchange framework.

Coast's One Stop Shop for Foreign Trade d'Ivoire (GUCE-CI) and the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) strengthen their administrative cooperation. The signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two institutions aims to improve the reliability of tax information, to strengthen the traceability of operations and to consolidate the mechanisms of control and compliance. The official ceremony took place at the Cité administrative department of the Plateau.

Indeed, through this agreement, the GUCE-CI, leads by its director general, Kitifolo Kignaman-Soro, is committed to putting at the at the disposal of the DGI the data from its platform and the procedures of foreign trade.

This partnership is perceived according to the Directorate-General of taxes, represented by its Deputy Director General, M'Bahia Bamba Maférima, as a strategic lever to further secure the revenues of the State and broaden the tax base. Cross-exploitation of data should also make it possible to optimize control actions and increase the effectiveness of fiscal missions.

Beyond the technical aspects, this agreement reflects the common desire of the two structures to work in a concerted manner, in a dynamic of modernization of public administration and digitalization of procedures.
