These are Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Togo, Guinea, Niger and Burkina Faso.
During a conversation with members of the network of economic journalists for West Africa, the West Africa sub-regional office of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) announced that only 6 African countries are implementing Zlecaf. These countries are currently in an advanced implementation phase, according to Jérôme Ouedraogo, Economist, Consultant Statistician at the ECA Sub-Regional Economic Office. Note that the Zlecaf officially came into force on January 1, 2022.
