The financing of the Energy Cluster Development Strategy (SDPE) and the Regional Digital Economy Development Program (PRDEN) is at the center of a round table that brings together technical and financial partners next Monday in Abidjan. This foundation is the work of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) Commission, in collaboration with the West African Development Bank

On 27 and 28 November 2023 in Abidjan, the round table will be held under the theme: “Universal access to energy and digital technology for sustainable development in UEMOA.” A press release published for this purpose informs that this meeting aims to mobilize the necessary funding and create a framework for dialogue in order to monitor the implementation of projects in its “highly strategic” sectors.

In addition, we learn that an inaugural conference to present energy and digital economy strategies in the UEMOA space, high-level panels and business meetings are on the agenda of this round.
