ESBanque: "Finance: Ethics & Trust" award call for applications

On November 20, the Finance: Ethics & Trust Prize competition was launched, organized on the theme "for a sustainable future" . It is held every two years by the Finance Observatory. This competition consists of highlighting the intellectual capacities of young professionals and researchers.

Several training courses dedicated to ethics in the banking and financial sector are perceived as the new Certificate expertise operated rational against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, created last September. This diploma allows banking and financial institutions to strengthen the skills of their employees, in particular with a view to the next evaluation of the France by the FATF, the international organization that evaluates anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism.

Banking professionals and researchers under the age of 35, nationals of French-speaking countries can apply for the French-speaking Chapter of the competition. They will have to present texts of up to 5,000 words, in French, not yet published, on trust and ethics in finance and including analyses or proposals, rigorous argumentations, innovative theses and clear conclusions.

Applications are made on the www.esbanque.fr website and their contributions must be sent before April 9, 2021. The 10 French-speaking ethics professionals in finance who will make up the jury will select the best writings from the Francophone Chapter. And the winning authors will compete for the Global Prize held at the end of 2021. They will then share a prize equivalent to 17,000 euros, awarded by the Observatoire de la Finance.
