From July 4 to 8, a seminar on the control of coherence and relevance of the financial statements of insurance companies gathered in Brazzaville, the insurance control executives from the member countries of the Inter-African Conference of Insurance Markets (Cima).

The theme of the working session initiated by the International Insurance Institute (IIA) was "The control of coherence and relevance of the financial statements of insurance companies by the national insurance departments". Extending over five days, this meeting will allow participants to examine the new approaches on the control; to ensure the stability of the financial system which constitutes for sure the barometer of the state of health of an insurer and the good functioning of the said institute. The participants in this seminar are executives from 16 countries. They are from Congo; Benin; Burkina Faso; Cameroon; Central African Republic; Ivory Coast; Comoros; Gabon; Equatorial Guinea, Bissau and Conakry; Mali, Niger, Senegal; Chad and finally Togo.
