According to a statement published on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 by the Ecofin Agency, Togolese financier Félix Edoh
As of today, Kossi Amenounve becomes the President of the Association of Stock Exchanges
African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) of which he was Vice-President since
November 2018.
At the head of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), he succeeds Karim Hajji, who has been admitted to retirement
and who stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of the Casablanca Stock Exchange on 31 March 2020.
In this position, Dr. Edoh Kossi Amenounve will chair the Executive Committee of the Association which is made up of
Johannesburg, Casablanca, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, Botswana, BRVM and
Stock Exchanges de La Bource des Valeurs Mobilières de l'Afrique Centrale (BVMAC).
In this capacity, he will continue the major projects in progress. Among other things, the implementation of the project
integration of African Stock Exchanges (AELP) and conduct
high pan-African stock exchange.
"He will also be responsible for coordinating the actions of African stock exchanges in the face of the pandemic in
coronavirus as well as the execution of the post-crisis strategy of African capital markets for recovery
of the continent's economies," the statement said.
