Un des responsables du Fonds Support for the Investment of Senegalese Abroad (FAISE) announced that the Fund intends to finance 100 projects worth 500 million CFA francs in sectors of agriculture, fishing, agro-business and new technologies

Created in 2008 with a budget of 340 million CFA francs to support projects in the Senegalese diaspora, FAISE financed from 2008 to 2012, 137 projects by Senegalese abroad for a total amount of 685 million CFA francs. “(...). In total, between 2014 and 2023, FAISE financed 837 projects by Senegalese people, located in Senegal,” announced the general administrator of FAISE, Nata Samb Mbacké. She said that the Aura Fund has financed 100 projects by Senegalese abroad, for a total amount of five hundred million CFA francs

According to him, “these projects initiated by Senegalese from outside, established in twenty countries, cover sectors as diverse and varied as agriculture, livestock, fishing, fishing, fishing, fishing, agri-business, training, services, crafts and finally, information and communication technologies”.
