On Thursday, July 27, 2023, the ceremony for the signing of two agreements between Togo and the African Development Bank (AfDB) took place at the office of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. These agreements are part of the financing of the project to support young men and women entrepreneurs

The first financing agreement with an estimated total cost of 28.1 billion FCFA will be used to cover the project to support young men and women entrepreneurs on job-creating value chains. The second will be used to finance the project to carry out studies for the program to build 20,000 affordable housing units in Togo, at an implementation cost. They cover a total amount of around 3.1 billion FCFA

The first project aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of young people, boost the competitiveness and increase the market shares of young MSMEs, and increase the volume of financing for young entrepreneurs.
