The private equity firm Okoumé Capital announced last Friday, April 3, that it had obtained its accreditation as a management company for private equity funds from the Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (Cosumaf).

Okoumé Capital formalizes its status and registers its activities within the regional regulatory framework, in order to mobilize resources for the benefit of businesses and support the structuring of private equity in Central Africa. The private equity firm Okoumé Capital is 100% owned by the Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund (FGIS).

Okoumé Capital now has a status allowing it to carry out private equity fund management activities in compliance with the framework defined by the Central African financial market regulator.
