The SMEs supported by Adepme, through its internationalization office, come from all sectors (textile-clothing, sewing, leather goods, agri-food, Café Touba), including national champions, according to a press release. Idrissa Diabira, the Director General of Adepme, thus indicated that as part of the “E-Pme” project to digitize SMEs with the World Bank et la Banque africaine de développement , the agency is supporting 80 companies to participate in the 2023 IATF exhibition in Cairo. This is the continuation of the internationalization of Senegalese companies. “Upstream, we are strengthening their competitiveness to open up new international opportunities. They are capable of conquering Africa and the world, we coach them to be their future champions. Exporting is an absolute priority for development. Today, through the refinancing system, it is more than 2,000 SMEs, but in 4 years, more than 50,000 SMEs will have access to financing,” he declared.
