The Algerian capital has been the setting since Thursday September 4 at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025). Co-organized by Algeria, Afreximbank, the African Union Commission and the AfCFTA Secretariat, the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) 2025) brings together delegations from 140 countries and more than 2,000 companies, including nearly 200 Algerian women.

According to the Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Wamkele Mene, “the current global context is characterized by uncertainty in trade, the rise of economic nationalism, and protection investments, which is why it is necessary to work together and with determination and diligence to build a solid domestic market, by drawing taking advantage of the AfCFTA in order to strengthen Africa's resilience capacities and to protect its common interests.”
